Service Description

Your dog must be at least six months old for this procedure. The procedure includes an antibiotic injection and pain management injection (Torb or Rimadyl) and anesthesia. BEFORE the surgery, we recommend bloodwork on your pup -- including a panel to check liver and kidney function (to make sure your pet can metabolize anesthesia properly) and a CBC test to check white and red blood cell counts. Cost: $78.52. We recommend additional pain medication — Torb or Rimadyl — for five days after the operation. Note that Torb or Rimadyl are NOT included in the price quoted here. *Note: Poplar Springs Animal Hospital reserves the right to change the price of this service or any other service if the circumstances alter.
